Ford Wins Car AND Truck of the Year Awards!

Ford swept the North American Car and Truck of the Year awards at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) for the 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid and the 2010 Ford Transit Connect, respectively.
This is only the 3rd time in 17 years that one manufacturer has won both awards!
Fusion Hybrid
• The Fusion Hybrid is the 4th hybrid vehicle in 17 years to win N.A. Car or Truck of the Year.
• This is also the 2nd hybrid win for Ford (the Escape Hybrid won in 2005), the most hybrid wins for any automaker!
Transit Connect
• It is the 6th Ford truck to win the award, the most wins of any automaker inthe 17-year history of the awards program!
